Job Description
Go Recruit are currently looking to recruit an 2 x experienced Front Line Manager for a third party logistics provider looking after a multinational Blue chip logistics contract within their transport divisions based in Dartford in Kent.
Working in a fast paced, dynamic transport office, you will be responsible for overseeing all the transport related duties. This includes
• driver management,
• health & safety,
• vehicle utilisation,
• planning, routing, and
• cost management.
Immediate start, contract role.
Reporting into the Transport GM, it is expected that you manage the department on the designated shift. Therefore, you will need to be confident in making decisions and thinking on your feet
Skills & Experience
•You will have at least 3 years experience working in a similar high volume, fast paced transport environment.
•You will be confident in communicating at all levels and have a natural pride in your work. Equally, you will be commercially aware, be a strong leader, and have excellent commercial awareness.
•Experience of working in a unionised environment is desirable but not essential.
